By Brian Liskai

FREMONT, Ohio (June 17, 2004) - Heavy thunderstorms just prior to hot laps caused the cancellation of races at Fremont Speedway Thursday night on the second leg of the USAC Buckeye Nationals, presented by Pepsi.

There were 45 USAC sprints and 37 USAC midgets signed into the pit area.

The next racing at Fremont Speedway, which has now had three rainouts for the season, will be Saturday, June 26 on Burger King Night featuring the powerful 410 winged sprint cars, the 305 sprints and the Coors Light Dirt Trucks.
