FREMONT, Ohio (July 27, 2004) - The Coors
Light Dirt Trucks have thrilled Fremont Speedway fans with some of the
best racing all season. As a reward, they will all get to compete in an
A-main feature at "The Track That Action Built," on Aug. 14.
The night's racing, sponsored by Fremont Fence, will feature the 410
winged sprints, 305 winged sprints along with the dirt trucks. The trucks
will be split into two fields based on odds and evens in the point standings.
They will run a complete show, including heat races. However, there will
be no B-mains, and all of the Coors Light Dirt Trucks will compete in a
15-lap A-main, each carrying the normal purse. The inversion will remain
12 based on average points. Each feature will carry full points as well.
"The drivers in the Coors Light Dirt Truck division have been very
loyal to Fremont Speedway and this is our way of saying thanks. They have
a full field every Saturday and we felt it was important to give them all
a chance to compete in an A-main feature," said Fremont Speedway promoter
Jim Ford.
