to crown champions
Top 10 in points in
all three divisons to share in $20,000 fund

FREMONT, Ohio (Oct. 24, 2004) - Fremont Speedway will crown its 2004
champions at a gala banquet, Saturday, Nov. 6, at Ole Zim's Wagon Shed,
1375 N. St. Rt. 590, Gibsonburg.
The top 10 in points in all three divisions - 410 sprints, 305 sprints
and Coors Light Dirt Trucks - will share in a $20,000 point fund. The Computer
Man Dash point fund will pay out over $2,500 to the 305 sprints, in addition
to the top three in the series points each getting a $300 gift certificate
from Brodix Heads.
Doors will open at Ole Zim's at 5:30 p.m. with the family style dinner
to begin at 6:30 p.m.Tickets for the banquet are $25 each and can be purchased
by calling the speedway office at 419-862-2206.
The top 10 in points for each division are:
410 sprints: 1. John Ivy (fourth track championship); 2. Mike Linder,
3. Mark Keegan, 4. David Harrison, 5. Todd Heller, 6. Bobby Clark, 7. Craig
Mintz, 8. Alvin Roepke. 9. Lee Jacobs, and 10. Brandon Martin.
305 sprints: 1. Brian Smith, 2. Bryan Sebetto, 3. Paul Weaver, 4. Scott
Miller, 5. Andy Shammo, 6. Jamie Miller, 7. Bill Kraylek, 8. Roger Shammo,
9. Ryan Lowe, and 10. Matt Ferrell.
Coors Light Dirt Trucks: 1. Steve Sabo, 2. Bobby Davis, 3. Brian Arnold,
4. Andy Maynard, 5. Art Ball, 6. Art Howey Jr., 7. Cory Ward, 8. Brian
Michael, 9. Jim Welty, and a tie for 10th (both will receive point fund
money), Dwight Waltermeier and Bob Dible.
In addition, the rookies of the year will be crowned and they are Caleb
Griffith, 410 sprints; Kevin Lee and Chris Andrews, 305 sprints; and Art
Howey Jr., Coors Light Dirt Trucks.
Also, Action Photos will give away $750 in cash in a drawing from among
the top 10 in each division with the following payout: $100, $75, $50 and
$25.
