big payout for Budweiser Shootout at Fremont

FREMONT, Ohio (Thursday, May 19, 2005) - Big money will be on the line
for the mud-slinging, fire-breathing 410 winged sprints on Saturday, May
28 at the New Fremont Speedway for the Budweiser Shootout. The event is
also exciting for fans as it offers twin features - the Bud Light 25-lap
main and the Budweiser 30-lap affair - which has the finishing order of
the first event completely inverted for the second main.
The Bud Light Feature will offer the following payout: 1. $2,500; 2.
$1,250; 3. $1,000; 4. $750; 5. $700; 6. $650; 7. $600; 8. $550; 9. $525;
10. $500; 11. $400; 12. $375; 13. $350; 14. $325; 15. $300; 16. $275; 17.
$250; and 18-22. $220. The Budweiser feature will be fully inverted from
the finish of the Bud Light feature and will offer the following payout:
1. $3,000; 2. $1,400; 3. $1,000; 4. $800; 5. $700; 6.$650; 7. $600; 8.
$550; 9. $525; 10. $500; 11. $400; 12. $375; 13. $350; 14. $325; 15. $300;
16. $275; 17. $250; 18-22. $220.
If the same driver can win both features, there will be a $2,000 Bud
Bonus Bucks available for a total of $7,500!
All sprints must run the Goodyear Racing Eagle Spec Right Rear Tire
and mufflers are required.
The Underground Utilities Inc. Limited Late Models (Attica rules) will
also be on the racing card on May 28. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. with
qualifying (one lap) at 6:30 p.m. with racing scheduled to begin at 7:30
p.m.
But, the racing action for the Memorial Day weekend doesn't stop there....the
American Late Model Series will pay a visit on Monday, May 30, along with
the 305 winged sprints. The ALMS feature will pay $2,000 to win, while
the 305 sprint main will pay $500 to win.
The gates will open at 3:30 p.m. on Monday and racing is scheduled
to get underway at 6:30 p.m. (note ealier times).
