Jessica Hill doing well

By Brian Liskai

FREMONT, Ohio (July 8, 2005) - Jessica Hill, the young lady injured in the Coors Light Dirt Truck Powder Puff race at Fremont Speedway Sunday, July 3, returned home from the hospital Wednesday and is recovering nicely, according to family members.

Hill's truck hit the concrete wall on the front stretch exiting turn four Sunday. She was in and out of consciousness and complained of neck and back pain and was extracted from the truck by use of the Jaws of Life. Hill was taken by helicopter to a Toledo hospital where she was examined and cleared of any serious injuries. Family members report she is very stiff and sore, but otherwise is doing well.
