GIBSONBURG, Ohio (Feb. 14) - Long-time sprint car driver
Dick Liskai is in a fight he knows he has to win. The Gibsonburg,
Ohio man has been battling cancer for well over a year,
and has been undergoing treatment in Columbus for the past
few months.
Friends and family are planning a benefit to help cover
all the costs of the treatment that aren't covered by insurance,
such as travel, lodging, etc.
The Dick Liskai Benefit will be held Saturday, March 2,
from 4 p.m. to midnight at the Rollersville Tavern, located
halfway between Fremont and Bowling Green just off U.S.
6. on Sandusky Co. Rd. 26.
A fun evening is planned, complete with a barbeque chicken
dinner with all the trimmings. Entertainment will be provided
by several bands. There will also be door prizes, a 50/50
raffle and several other raffles. Liskai's familiar #6 sprint
car will also be on display.
