Fremont Speedway rules for 305 sprint heads

FREMONT, Ohio (March 5) - The 305 sprint division at Fremont Speedway has a few rule changes in place for the 2002 season.

The 305 sprints must use either the stock GM 305 cast iron head (as in previous years) or the Brodix Spec Aluminum head (new for 2002) only. The Brodix Aluminum Spec Head may be ordered as a complete head by ordering purchase number SP ST PKG or ordered as a bare head only by ording by purchase number SP ST.

This rule for 305 sprint engine heads applies for the Baumann Auto Group 305 Sprint Invitational on Monday, Sept. 2. Also, the Virginia 305 sprint series heads will be allowed for this race.

The 305 sprints are also allowed to utilize power steering in 2002.
