Fremont Speedway
announces purse increases for 2006

FREMONT, Ohio (March 2, 2006) - Fremont Speedway - "The Track That Action
Built" - has a rich racing history, providing some of the most entertaining,
competitive racing you can find in the United States. To reward the teams,
fans and sponsors who have supported the track, promoter Jim Ford has announced
increased purses for the 2006 season.
"We have had a wonderful marketing partnership with the business community
as is evident by the weekly night sponsors," said Ford. "We have some of
the most loyal fans and race teams you'll find anywhere in the country,
and this is our way of saying thanks."
"The purse structure at both Fremont Speedway and Attica Raceway Park
gives race teams and fans a great opportunity at tracks within 40 miles
of each other. It will be a fantastic weekend of racing with relatively
little travel in between," added Ford.
The fire-breathing Fort Ball Pizza 410 Sprints will compete for $2,500
to win during weekly events. The competitive Fremont Federal Credit Union
305 Sprints will battle for the $500 A-main prize, while the Coors Light
Dirt Trucks will bang fenders for the $300 top spot in the feature.
The 410 sprint A-main payoff is: 1. $2,500; 2. $1,400; 3. $1,025; 4.
$825; 5. $700; 6. $600; 7. $500; 8. $450; 9. $425; 10. $400; 11. $375;
12. $350; 13. $325; 14. $300; 15. $275; 16. $270; 17. $265; 18. $260; 19.
$255; and 20. $250.
The 410 sprint B-main will pay $125 to the first non-transfer car and
$90 to start.
The 305 sprint A-main payoff is: 1. $500; 2. $350; 3. $280; 4. $250;
5. $230; 6. $220; 7. $210; 8. $200; 9. $190; 10. $180; 11. $170; 12. $160;
13. $150; 14. $140; 15. $135; 16. $130; 17. $125; 18. $120; 19. $120; and
20. $120.
The 305 sprint B-main will pay $75 to the first non-transfer car and
will pay $55 to start.
The Dirt Truck A-main payoff is: 1. $300; 2. $200; 3. $150; 4. $125:
5. $115; 6. $110; 7. $100; 8. $90; 9. $85; 10. $80; 11. $80; 12. $75; 13.
$75; 14-16. $70; 17-18. $65; 19-20. $60.
The Dirt Truck B-main will pay $50 to the first two non-transfer trucks
and $35 to start.
Ford notes the payoff for 11th through 20th place finishers in the
410 sprint A-main has been increased. Also, finishing positions 10th through
20th in the B-main have increased payoffs.
Also, finishing positions 5th-20th in the 305 sprint A-main have increased
payoffs, as does positions 9th-20th in the B-main payoff.
The fifth through 20th positions in the Dirt Truck A-main have increased
money, as does the entire B-main purse for the trucks.
The Track That Action Built opens for its 55th season on Snyder's Floor
Covering Night, Saturday, April 22.
