By Brian Liskai
FREMONT, Ohio (Monday, April 17, 2006) - Fremont Speedway will kick
off its 55th season of racing Saturday, April 22, as the fire-breathing
Fort Ball Pizza 410 winged sprints, the mud-slinging Fremont Federal Credit
Union 305 sprints and the door-banging Coors Light Dirt Trucks will do
battle.
The win-list at "The Track That Action Built" is like reading a "Who's
Who" of racing, and a new generation of drivers are eager to add their
names as the season gets underway on Snyder's Floor Covering Night.
The winner of the 410 sprint feature will take home $2,500, while the
305 sprint feature winner will earn $500 and the dirt truck victor will
get $300.
Gates will open Saturday at 4:30 p.m. with racing slated to begin at
7:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for Senior
Citizens, $6 for teens 11-16 and children 10 and under are admitted free.
