FREMONT, Ohio (Saturday, April 22, 2006) - A huge crowd left Fremont Speedway disappointed Saturday, as the rain came with the B mains for the 305 sprints on the track, bringing an end to the season opener at "The Track That Action Built."

The pits were full of race cars and trucks for Snyder's Floor Covering Night, with 24 of the Fort Ball Pizza 410 sprints signed in, 37 of the Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 sprints and 38 of the Coors Light Dirt Trucks in attendance.

The heats for all three divisions were run, as was the B-main for the 410 sprints. One of the two B-mains for the 305 sprints was finished and the second on the track when the rain fell.

The makeup feature for the 410 sprints will be run Saturday, April 29, with Alvin Roepke and Brian Smith on the front row. The other B-main and A-main for the 305 sprints will also compete on Saturday, April 29.

That means besides the full night of action for all three divisions, there will be double features for the sprint cars on Willie's Sales & Service-Toro Lawn Mower Night.

The two B-mains and A-main for the dirt trucks will be run Saturday, May 13. So that night will be double features for the trucks along with the 410 sprints and 305 sprints.
