FREMONT, Ohio (Monday, Feb. 5, 2007) -
Fremont Speedway will embark on its
56th season of exciting, wheel-to-wheel
racing when the 2007 season kicks
off Saturday, April 21, featuring the
winged Fort Ball Pizza 410 Sprints,
Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints
and the fendered fire-breathing
dirt trucks.
"We have plenty of good-paying shows for
our competitors and it's still at
an affordable price for our fans and their
families," said Fremont Speedway
Promoter Jim Ford.
Besides the Thursday night visit of the
O'Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit
of Champions during the 25th Ohio Sprint
Speedweek on Budweiser Night, June
28 (with 305 sprints), Crown Battery and
KOT Trucking are teaming up to
sponsor the 50-lap challenge for the 410
sprints on Saturdays, May 26 and
Aug. 11. The features will each pay $5,000
to win!
The Sunoco American Late Models will pay
a visit to "The Track That Action
Built" on Saturday, Sept. 15, to wrap
up the 2007 season.
The 8th Annual Burns Iron and Metal 305
Sprint Invitational - one of the
richest purses for that division in the
country - will be held Sunday, Sept.
2nd.
Fremont Speedway is located in the historic
Sandusky County Fairgrounds,
located south of the Ohio Turnpike Exit
91 and U.S. 20, at the corner of
