FREMONT, Ohio (Wednesday, May 2, 2007)
- Over the next three weeks, fans will be treated to a lot of racing action
at Fremont Speedway, as the feature events that were rained out April 28
will be made up over that time span along with the regularly scheduled
events.
"We want to thank all the fans and the
111 race teams that came out this past Saturday. Unfortunately, the rains
came unexpectedly and we were forced to cancel the feature events on Kistler
Engines Night," said Fremont Speedway Promoter Jim Ford.
On Baumann Auto Group Night, Saturday,
May 5, besides the scheduled program of heats and features for Fort Ball
Pizza Palace 410 Sprints, Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints and
Fremont Fence & Guardrail Dirt Trucks, the two B-mains, the Computer
Man Dash and the 25-lap A-main for the 305 sprints rained out April 28
will be contested.
For the young fans, the Tackle Box II
will also give away five bikes Saturday (kids 10 and under)! Also, the
Sandusky County Fairboard's 50/50 drawing was held after the rains came
April 28. The winning number is posted on Fremont Speedway's website (www.fremontohspeedway.com)
or ticket holders can call the fairboard office to claim the money at 419-332-5604.
The two B-mains and 20-lap A-main for
the dirt trucks will be contested on Saturday, May 12, along with the regular
program of 410 sprints, 305 sprints and trucks on Legendz Sports Bar &
Grill Night.
The 30-lap 410 sprint A-main from April
28 will be made up on Roots Poultry Night, Saturday, May 19, along with
the complete program of 305 sprints, dirt trucks and 410 sprints.
