FREMONT, Oh. - Kenny Jacobs has more career All Star Circuit of Champions feature wins than anyone. He has visited victory lane all over the United States. But, he had never won a feature at Fremont Speedway. That 29-year drought ended Saturday Night, May 19, as "The Mouse" scored the 410 sprint feature win on Waste Management Services Night.

"This place is like Williamsgrove (Pa.)...there's so much history and tradition here. It was really bothering me that I hadn't won a feature here. Some of the best race car drivers ever have won here and now I can say I have too," said an elated Jacobs.

In what resembled an All Star field, Jacobs started on the outside of the front row next to Kyle Sauder. He immediately jumped into the lead at the start and was never seriously challenged. Jason Johnson, aboard Jack Elden's #22 finished second followed by Rob Chaney, Rodney Duncan, Greg Wilson, Butch Schroeder aboard Junior Holbrook's 8H, Dean Jacobs, Todd Heller, Byron Reed, who started 23rd in the field, and John Wisbon.

Schroeder had quick time out of the 50 cars in qualifications. Heat wins went to Dean Jacobs, Kenny Jacobs, John Ivy, Jody Keegan and Chad Kemenah. Chuck Wilson won the C-Main, with Schroeder taking the B-main victory. In the Austrailian Pursuit, Kemenah passed race leader Alvin Roepke coming out of turn four on the last lap for the win.

In the 305 sprint feature, defending track champion Bryan Scott scored his third win of the season over Chris Lang, Brandon martin, Doug Berryman and Scott Kraylek.

Heat wins went to Martin, Keith Whaley and Roger Shammo. Shawn Chaney took the win in the B-Main.

Defending track champion Danny Roepke passed Steve Sabo on the last turn of the last lap for the dirt truck feature win. The two made contact coming down for the checkered with Roepke coming out on top. The win stoped a nine feature win streak for Sabo. Behind those two it was Greg Summit, Bobby Davis, and John Rhoads.

Dirt truck heat wins went to Rhoads, Jeff Dougherty and Rich Farmer.

The All Star Circuit of Champions makes their return to Fremont Speedway Saturday, May 26 for the Budweiser 40. The ALMS late models come to "The Track That Action Built" on Monday, May 28.
