OHIO SPRINT SPEEDWEEK PRE-ENTRY LIST

PONCE INLET, FL - The 19th Annual Ohio Outlaw Sprint Speedweek will be
held Sunday, July 1 through Saturday, July 7, with action at seven
different
tracks over seven consecutive nights of racing. To earn points toward the
Speedweek points championship and points fund payoff, drivers must be
pre-entered. A total of 32 pre-entries have been received, including that
of
All Star points leader Chad Kemenah. Many at-the-track entries are also
expected which will provide large fields of cars for each event.
The format of seven consecutive nights of sprint car racing at seven
different Ohio tracks will commence at Attica Raceway Park at Attica on
Sunday, July 1. The following night Wayne County Speedway at Orrville,
will
present the Monday show on July 2. Fremont Speedway's Speedweek show on
Tuesday, July 3 has the billing of the "Budweiser 40," paying $6,000 to
the
winner. Next, K-C Raceway at Alma is up for the mid-week Wednesday, July 4
race.
Sharon Speedway, in Hartford, a half-mile oval, hosts the fifth leg of
Speedweek on Thursday, July 5. The action moves to Limaland Motorsports
Park
on Friday, July 6, located just west of Lima in Allentown. Lima will also
pay $6,000 to the feature winner.
The $10,000 Saturday, July 7th finale will be run at Portsmouth Raceway
Park in Portsmouth, OH. The week-long series points champion will also be
crowned Saturday.
