In the 410 sprint division, Ivy scored two feature wins during 2001 at Fremont, leaving him with 10 for his career, good for a tie for 38th on the all-time career feature win list at the track.
Roepke scored his second career feature at the track during 2001, as did Harrison. Eight-time Fremont Speedway track champion Mark Keegan picked up three feature wins in 2001, moving him into a tie for fourth on the all-time career feature win list with 54.
The points battle - and nearly every feature during 2001 - was close all year in the 305 sprint division between 2000 track champion Scott, and Foster.
Scott scored an incredible nine feature wins during 2001 at Fremont, including the $3,000 to win 2nd Annual Baumann Auto Group 305 Sprint Invitational. He now sits tied for 27th on the all-time career feature win list with 14. Foster picked up five feature wins in 2001, moving him into a tie for 27th on the all-time career feature win list with 14. Mayes also picked up his first career feature win at Fremont in 2001.
In the dirt truck division, Sabo opened the season with three feature wins in a row, and then placed in the top five consistently to win the points. He now sits tied for 38th on the all-time career feature win list with 10 checkereds.
Bobby Davis scored two feature wins in 2001 for his second place point standing, while his Bobby Sear's teammate John Rhoads scored a pair of wins also. Dougherty took home two feature wins in 2001, and probably finished second more times than anyone else. Sebetto and Hites each scored victories in 2001, and Boyd picked up two wins.
Defending dirt truck track champion Dan Roepke scored five feature wins in 2001, but refused a claim under the track's rules early in the season, thus forfeitting all his points. However, he now has 10 career feature wins at Fremont, tying him for 38th on the all-time win list.
Tickets for the banquet are $25 each and can be obtained by calling the Fremont Speedway Office Phone at 419-862-2206.
