Inside Line Promotions – ATTICA, Ohio (May 19, 2015) – Caleb Helms will venture to a pair of tracks this weekend with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions.

Helms, who ranks 13th in the championship standings – only 44 points out of the top 10 – will make his debut at Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, Ind., on Friday before racing on Saturday and Sunday at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio.

“Our goal is to put together complete nights from hot laps until the checkered flag of the main event,” he said. “We’ve been really good during different parts of a bunch of races this year, but we haven’t put together many complete nights.”

Friday will mark a new track for Helms, who hasn’t been to Plymouth Speedway.

“I’ve heard it’s a smaller track and that it races well,” he said. “It’s always fun to check out new places. Plus, I enjoy racing in Indiana whenever I get the chance.”

This weekend will be the first time this season that Helms has competed at Fremont Speedway, where he powered to a pair of top-six finishes last year.

“We don’t race at Fremont very often, but I feel like I get around that track pretty well,” he said. “Hopefully we can pick up where we left off last year and be in contention for a couple of good results this weekend.”

Rain hampered last weekend’s schedule for Helms, who competed on Friday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. He started last in a heat race and finished seventh before advancing from 12th to eighth place in the B Main.

“We had a good car in the B Main, but just started so far back behind some really good cars,” he said. “It was too much to overcome our heat race.”
