Inside Line Promotions – HURON, Ohio (Oct. 23, 2017) – Kevin Mingus continues his offseason work of building his own 305ci winged sprint car team as he recently added the Village Pizza House in Attica, Ohio, to his growing list of marketing partners.

“The Village Pizza House is under new ownership,” he said. “My mom recently was looking at a new car and she said something to the sales guy and he said his cousin had just bought a new pizza shop in Attica. I contacted Nick (Donahue), the new owner, and he came on board with the team we’re building for 2018.”

Donahue is excited to be a part of Mingus Motorsports.

“I look forward to getting to know the team and the fans,” he said. “I know how important the race track is to the community of Attica and I’m excited to be a part of racing.”

The Village Pizza House is located at 28 N. Main Street in Attica, Ohio. Attica Raceway Park is only a few blocks away from the restaurant and Mingus will compete at the track nearly every Friday night from March through August.

Mingus continues to work in securing additional marketing partners as well as bringing back the loyal businesses that supported his racing in 2017.

“It looks like most, if not all, of the businesses that helped us last year are coming back,” he said. “We will continue to work hard to show them a return on their investment.”

Mingus recently added another chassis to his program as well.

“We purchased Brandon Moore’s backup for a spare,” he said. “Hopefully we won’t need it, but it’s nice to have just in case. We’re busy getting the parts purchased from Kurt and Martha (Huber) and getting the shop around. It will be March before you know it.”

Mingus said the team plans to compete weekly at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, and at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, as well as with the JLH General Contractor FAST 305 Championship Series in 2018.
