Inside Line Promotions – FREMONT, Ohio (May 31, 2018) – Chris Andrews was finally able to log laps last weekend after battling mechanical problems early this season.

Although it was a bit frustrating for the Burmeister Racing Team as they just missed making the A Main on Friday during an Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions show at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, the team rebounded on Saturday at Fremont Speedway by securing an 11th-place finish during an All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads FAST 410 Championship Series event

The action began on Friday at Attica Raceway Park, where Andrews qualified fifth in his group, just missing the inversion to start on the front row of his heat race. Andrews, who was the 2017 Attica Raceway Park track champion, finished fifth in the heat, thus missing a lock-in position to the A Main by one position.

“We just missed the transfer,” he said. “We finally got the mechanical issues resolved. Now we just need to work on setups and getting up to speed.”

The night ended with a seventh-place run in the B Main.

Andrews was second quickest in qualifying and he finished fourth in his heat race on Saturday at Fremont Speedway. He then ended where he started – 11th – in the main event.

“We have qualifying figured out at Fremont,” he said. “We need to work on getting better in the feature. We were pretty neutral on a very fast track. I’m confident my guys will get this figured out, especially as the summer goes on and the track slicks off. We did get things turned around this weekend. We have a car capable of winning races. We just need a little luck and more laps.”

Andrews is scheduled to compete this Friday at Attica Raceway Park and Saturday at Fremont Speedway with the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads FAST 410 Championship Series.
