A Weekend Of Fifths For Abby Hohlbein With The USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets
FREMONT, Ohio (June 19, 2023) Notching two more top-five finishes to her 2023 record, Abby Hohlbein took on three A-Features in two nights at Limaland Motorsports Park and Fremont Speedway with the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets.
Starting a little rough, the make-up feature from May 12 was contested first at Limaland on Friday, June 16, with Abby finishing 19th after starting sixth.
Second quick in her Qualifying group for the regular Friday program, Abby placed second from fourth in her Heat. Setting her up fifth in the A-Feature, that's where she would cross at the end of 20 laps.
On to Fremont on Saturday, June 17, Heat Race results were victory after starting fourth in the third round. Gridding the feature sixth, the K&L Ready Mix No. 11h picked up on for another fifth-place finish.
